Part A — Acceptable Use

1. Permitted use

This website is for lawful, personal shopping. Please don't use it for any unlawful purpose.

2. Prohibited conduct

• No fraud, payment abuse, or attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site.
• No scraping, copying or reuse of our content, imagery or original designs without permission.
• No false or misleading information when ordering.

3. Order & returns abuse

We may decline or cancel orders, or limit returns, where we reasonably suspect abuse of our policies.

Part B — Product Safety & Disclaimer

4. Decorative purpose

Our products are decorative home goods. They are not toys, not for industrial or structural use, and not food-contact items unless explicitly stated. Keep small parts and candles away from children and pets.

5. Installation & load-bearing (shelves & mirrors)

Wall-mounted items — including the Wall Shelf Combo and Mirror Cluster Set — must be installed correctly and safely. You are responsible for assessing your wall type and load capacity and for using fixings appropriate to your wall (timber, plasterboard, masonry). Do not exceed any stated maximum load. If in doubt, use a qualified installer. We are not responsible for injury, death or property damage resulting from improper installation, unsuitable fixings, inadequate wall strength, or overloading.

6. Fragile goods (ceramic & glass)

Ceramic and glass items are fragile and can break or chip. Handle with care, place on stable surfaces, and keep away from edges where they may be knocked. For transit damage, see our Refund & Returns Policy.

7. Open flame (candles)

Sets that include candles involve an open flame. Burn on a heat-safe surface away from flammable objects, never leave a burning candle unattended, keep away from children and pets, and stop use when little wax remains.

8. Materials & authenticity

We describe materials truthfully. Our items are made of stoneware ceramic, solid and engineered woods, cotton and linen, glass, and metal with applied finishes. Where a finish resembles another material, we say so — a warm matte metal frame is a finish over a metal alloy, not solid brass; nothing decorative is claimed to be solid marble or genuine leather. If you ever find a description that seems unclear, tell us and we'll correct it.

9. Allergens & coatings

Glazes, dyes, oils and natural materials (e.g. solid wood) may cause sensitivity in some people. If you have known sensitivities, please take care. All decorative accents — including our faux botanical stems and faux branch — are for decoration only and not for consumption.

10. Colour & size variation

Screens, lighting and the nature of handmade and natural materials mean colour, grain and texture can vary between items and from photographs. Dimensions are approximate.

11. No warranty beyond statutory rights

Except for guarantees that cannot be excluded by law (including the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act where it applies), we make no further warranties. This disclaimer does not exclude your non-excludable statutory rights.
